Behavioural science's core lesson, as championed by Thaler and Sunstein, is: to encourage people to do something, "make it easy." But how do we apply this principle to scaling up the use of behavioural science itself? At Colectiv, we believe the answer lies in people and technology.
Traditional projects in the field involve teams of behavioural scientists discovering insights on barriers, motivations, and social interactions, and then designing and testing solutions based on these findings. However, the people delivering or using services often already possess these valuable insights. The challenge is how to efficiently collect and use this knowledge.
