Behavioural science's core lesson, as championed by Thaler and Sunstein, is: to encourage people to do something, "make it easy." But how do we apply this principle to scaling up the use of behavioural science itself? At Colectiv, we believe the answer lies in people and technology.

Traditional projects in the field involve teams of behavioural scientists discovering insights on barriers, motivations, and social interactions, and then designing and testing solutions based on these findings. However, the people  delivering or using services often already possess these valuable insights. The challenge is how to efficiently collect and use this knowledge.

This is where technology comes into play. Our approach at Colectiv is to build technology for:

• People to share their insights, ideas, and feedback in straightforward conversations. We've created easy-access, conversational AI interviews, in multiple languages.
• Teams to easily access this data. We've built a user-friendly tool so that teams can search, understand and analyse these insights.

By harnessing technology to crowdsource insights and facilitate collaboration, our method makes behavioural science more accessible for policymakers, practitioners, and innovators in government and NGOs.
